A Message from the Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Central Texas

Dear Friends,

On behalf of Catholic Charities of Central Texas, I am honored to share with you our mission, vision, and the incredible impact we are making in our communities. As the Executive Director, I am privileged to witness firsthand the dedication and compassion of our staff, volunteers, and supporters who work tirelessly to provide essential services and support to those in need.

Our Mission: Empowering Individuals, Strengthening Families

At Catholic Charities of Central Texas, our mission is simple yet powerful. We are driven by our commitment to empower individuals and strengthen families, by providing them with the resources they need to overcome challenges, transform their lives, and build a brighter future.

In our pursuit of this mission, we offer a wide range of programs and services that address various aspects of human need:

1. Basic Needs Assistance

We recognize that meeting basic needs is essential to help individuals and families thrive. Through our food pantry, emergency financial assistance, and access to clothing and household goods, we ensure that no one in our community goes hungry or lacks the bare necessities.

2. Family Counseling and Support

Family is the foundation of strong communities. Our professional counselors and social workers provide individual, couples, and family counseling services to help strengthen relationships, improve communication, and promote overall well-being.

3. Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services

As an organization rooted in compassion and justice, we welcome and support refugees and immigrants as they rebuild their lives in the United States. From housing assistance to language classes, job training, and legal support, we work tirelessly to ensure their successful integration and self-sufficiency.

4. Adoption and Foster Care

Every child deserves a safe and loving home. Our adoption and foster care services connect children with nurturing families, providing them with the stability and care they need to flourish.

5. Disaster Response and Recovery

We believe in extending a helping hand to our neighbors in times of crisis. Our disaster response team is prepared to provide immediate aid and long-term support to individuals and communities affected by natural disasters and other emergencies.
